This is fascinating! The finished image is beautiful and so enticing to imagine putting together in puzzle form that I’m going to try to order one. Thanks for the glimpse behind the scenes!

Thanks for sharing. I've never thought about illustration specifically for puzzles before.

Same! I treated my first one like any other illustration. I didn't get a copy so I'm not sure how well it worked, but I can imagine it has some frustrating areas. Since working with eeBoo, I feel I have a more informed approach.

It looks so beautiful, Jennifer! Thank you for sharing your process! I’m curious did you drew this illustration traditionally or digitally, it just looks so real 😌

Thanks! It's a mix. I did the line art digitally, then colored it traditionally. All the final edits and lighting were digital. So basically Round 2 above was traditional and the rest was digital.

What a wonderful project, and it's so interesting the different things you need to think about for puzzles.

(Also, Bluesky hasn't really hit the mark for me, either.)

I'm still hopeful! I'm finding different, often smaller communities that seem easier to connect to, here and on some different forums. I suppose I'm craving the kind of connection you get from smaller groups, but at the same time, I want access to everyone and everything!

So interesting to see this puzzle journey! And also thanks for pointing me in the right direction to get more puzzle for my little puzzle fiend.

I'd love some alternative to instagram, that's like instagram, but has a normal proper search function that allows to search for posts in chronological order. (And ideally not owned by Meta). Those are my two main gripes.
