This is fascinating! The finished image is beautiful and so enticing to imagine putting together in puzzle form that I’m going to try to order one. Thanks for the glimpse behind the scenes!
Same! I treated my first one like any other illustration. I didn't get a copy so I'm not sure how well it worked, but I can imagine it has some frustrating areas. Since working with eeBoo, I feel I have a more informed approach.
It looks so beautiful, Jennifer! Thank you for sharing your process! I’m curious did you drew this illustration traditionally or digitally, it just looks so real 😌
Thanks! It's a mix. I did the line art digitally, then colored it traditionally. All the final edits and lighting were digital. So basically Round 2 above was traditional and the rest was digital.
I'm still hopeful! I'm finding different, often smaller communities that seem easier to connect to, here and on some different forums. I suppose I'm craving the kind of connection you get from smaller groups, but at the same time, I want access to everyone and everything!
A big congraaaats! I love this puzzle brands yaaay, and I just mentioned in my recent Substack post that I went mini bankrupt from buying puzzles last month lol. So adorable and so many details - I will look for your design in stores! 🙌
So interesting to see this puzzle journey! And also thanks for pointing me in the right direction to get more puzzle for my little puzzle fiend.
I'd love some alternative to instagram, that's like instagram, but has a normal proper search function that allows to search for posts in chronological order. (And ideally not owned by Meta). Those are my two main gripes.
This is so cool! Definitely a dream of mine to illustrate a puzzle, so I appreciate getting a peek into the process. Thank you for sharing!
Such a gorgeous illustration!! And it must have been fun illustrating for a puzzle🩷🩷
Such a beautiful illustration. I love a puzzle!
Thanks, Sarah!

Aw that's nice to hear. I hope you enjoy it. I hope Wicked Marigold is doing well. I'm so ready for that sequel!
Absolutely gorgeous! I’d love to buy this for my mum…
Oh what a lovely thought. My mom loved hers but she might be a little biased 😉
Thank you for sharing your process! Such gorgeous work!
Happy to share. Thanks so much!
Thanks for sharing. I've never thought about illustration specifically for puzzles before.

Wow! It sounds so interesting! Thank you for your answer, Jennifer! :)
The puzzle looks wonderful! I wanna live in this kitchen
Hahaha I definitely pulled a lot of inspo from my saved interiors folder!
Hearty congratulations on creating a wonderful puzzle art. Thank you for all the insights.
Thank YOU!
What a wonderful project, and it's so interesting the different things you need to think about for puzzles.
(Also, Bluesky hasn't really hit the mark for me, either.)

Yes, I know what you mean.

Oh I'm about to do the same! Did you see that new eeBoo puzzle from Victoria Tentler-Krylov? The art store one? I HAVE to get my hands on that one!
Great insights into your process! Thank you for sharing
You're very welcome!
